| So... I was randomly checking my old email just now for some bank password/login thing and I found some emails from Wendi.
Such a weird feeling. I've been dreading tomorrow. I hate it so much when your mind plays tricks on you and you see people all the time that resemble the one person you don't want to think about, because it's sad. Torn between feeling selfish and missing... and letting go and trusting God.

| Merry Christmas everyone!
Quick Update.... I've been so busy the past few days, and I'm leaving for St. Louis and Urbana the day after Tomorrow. So, I basically have a lot to do tomorrow....And I'm signing off now, but I first had to voice my anxiety to xanga about having a lot to do tomorrow. Well, Thankyou xanga. And Thankyou Jesus for being born today.

| I know you are shocked to actually get an update from me, but something of signifigance has actually happened in my life. I am so in awe, and this is because anyone who attends RVC knows that it never shuts down ever, ever. But today of all days we were blessed with 10" and the school was closed on the same day I had an Anatomy test to face the music on. Thankyou Lord. In other news: I've started the countdown to Urbana, the Huge missions conference I'm attending December 27 through New Years. It's in St. Louis, and 20,000 people attend every time they have it. Apprehensive, but excited. Staying with the Intervarsity chapter from NIU because just me and my friend Alicia are going from RVC. I guess I have to conclude with that I miss everyone, especially friends living in different countries. Hint Hint. Call me. I am so glad that the Christmas season has started, snow is on the ground despite the coldness, it simply isn't Christmas without the snow. I'm trying to think of a graceful way to end this post without writing something melancholy about having to go to work tomorrow. Didn't work.

| So I'm updating my mandatory once-a-month post to let everyone know that I still exist. I went on the Intervarsity Fall Retreat last weekend. It was up in Mukwonago, WI and we went with NIU and Rockford College, and some other community colleges from around Chicago. It was literally so much fun. I was talked in to playing paint ball. Yes, you read that right. Probably could have been more fun, if I hadn't been playing with 8 die hard- competitive guys who don't care if you're a girl. I was told that it didn't hurt when you got hit. Yeah right. I have a couple welts now that I didn't before, but I treasure the experince because I tried something new. Other than that, we studied the book of Daniel, did some canoeing and hanging out. Great weekend. So, I've said this a million times, but I love IV.
Other news: I think I want to go to NIU next year. I'm still in the pondering phase, but I'm pretty excited and sure about the idea. And I've discovered that I really like Anatomy and Physiology this semester. Amazing what happens when a class becomes your life. So, that's about it. I should go back and count how many times I've ended a post with, "that's about it." | | |
| A few new things going on in my life:
I have been drinking Bombay Chai tea far more than coffee... and I love it. Borderline obsession.
I watched the Bear's game the other day against the packers and I actually liked it, but definietly not obsessed.
I'm sad that Steve Irwin died, but I'm surprised that it wasn't a crocidile that got him.
Going up to NIU tomorrow night to visit some friends.
I love IV, this semester is no different. It's stretching to have to be the upfront person, but good at the same time. Baby steps.
I change my mind on what I want to do next year every couple of days.
I have been offered a job caring for an elderly lady a couple hours a week. I might take it.
My friend Christina is getting married next month! Her fiance comes home from Iraq soon. And then they move to Germany, of all places. Good luck!
So, this is all I can think of right now, besides watching the History and Travel channel all week. Educational television is rockin' my world. All right, I'm done.
